Megan is the Queen Mother. She keeps Molly and Bo in line and always gets her way. She is a Cocker Spaniel mix that we got from the Humane Society about 7 years ago.

When we got her, we had a microchip implanted. It was a very good thing because in February 2003 she was stolen from us. For 2 1/2 years we did not know what had happened to her. In August of 2006 we received a call from Maricopa County Animal Control asking if we were missing our dogs. I looked and saw Molly and Bo and told them no. MCAC then told me they had scanned a Cocker Spaniel mix and it came up with our name. We couldn't believe that after that long we would get her back.

Whe we got her back her fur was very matted and she looked like she had just been thrown in a yard and left there without proper care. We took her to our groomer and had her hair shaved, and this is what she looks like now. Her fur will grow back in and she will start looking more like a Cocker Spaniel.

It really hurts us that someone would steal her then not try to find the owner or even take proper care of the pet. We are so happy that she has been returned to us.
